Blaze Pizza Educational Tour

Join Mentoring Tiny Humans and Blaze Pizza for a behind-the-scenes tour of our favorite location!

Get a private tour of the restaurant, learn to make dough, and create your own individual pizza, all before they open to the public.

This exclusive Mentoring Tiny Humans event is in collaboration with Blaze Pizza Menifee and includes themed educational materials, activities and crafts, giveaways, and more! The event is $10 and includes a discounted individual 11-inch one topping pizza and drink (custom crusts additional pricing).

Tours are curated for all ages and all abilities and includes lowered music, front loading of activities, dedicated sensory space, and more.

Blaze Pizza is especially near and dear to us as we are a neurodiverse family; some of our immediate family members have specific eating preferences, OCD, and allergies.

Tours are limited to 10 tiny learners along with their adults or caregivers. Please note that while they may begin our pizza's before they open, it does take time to make them. The restaurant will open to the public at 11 AM. Plan accordingly with snacks and such if needed. Tours are geared toward the (developmental) ages 5 and up and provided in a neuro-affirming environment. 

The tour begins promptly at 9:45 a.m. We will meet in the courtyard to the left of the restaurant to check in, ensure waivers are signed, and go in as a group.

Please respect the restaurant staff and their efforts as they will be busy preparing for us. Doing so will slow down our check-in process which may lead to a late start or changes to the tour for time constraints. Allergen information:

Blaze Pizza is an exceptional leader when it comes to allergen awareness, consideration, and work diligently to avoid allergens or make sure your order does not contain your particular allergen.

For instance, they offer cauliflower crust, gluten free crust, and vegan cheese. Additionally, they keep sauces and other items completely separate far from each other, put on new gloves for those with allergies, and bake away from other items. Furthermore, they are very receptive to creating an order that caters to your individual preferences and dietary needs.

I can personally attest to their attentiveness and how seriously they take preferences and especially allergies. We have a dairy allergy in our immediate family and they are the only pizza establishment we go to and why I partner with them.

Accommodations/Sensory Considerations

Mentoring Tiny Humans tours and events are curated for all ages and all abilities and includes

✅ Dedicated sensory space

✅No loud music

✅ Front loading of activities

✅ No required or dedicated time for introduction for participants.

✅ Minimal or no greetings that allow for all preferences and needs; you don’t have to say hi, shake hands, or engage in eye contact.

✅ Safe Space with no expectations- sit in a group, with friends, family, or separately. Stay as long as you like, or as little as you need. There is no need for goodbye greetings or stereotypical decorum, if your child is overloaded or overstimulated, we can connect another time. If needed, please bring and utilize tools and supports that can help your tiny human and family get through the events.

PLEASE NOTE:  Event pricing includes a special discount pricing for a one topping 11-inch pizza and small drink for all attendees. Also included are special educational materials and activities provided and sponsored by Mentoring Tiny Humans. Other pizzas, additional toppings, drinks, or sweets are additional cost and not included. Additional fees include mandatory tax and transaction fee. Mentoring Tiny Humans does not receive a profit for these events, however, sometimes fundraising opportunities will also be provided to beneifit various non-profit organizations as Mentoring Tiny Humans and Blaze Pizza strive to support and provide community outreach opportunities. 

Optional shop items are also available for purchase and pick up day of. These purchases go directly to Mentoring Tiny Humans and help fund our free and low cost events, such as this one, community and library events, sensory spaces, and community outreach efforts.
