Welcome to February!
I cannot believe we are in the second month of the year already, can you? We are settling back into a routine after the holidays and the beginning of the new year. We were
bombarded with thanksgiving, Christmas, birthdays, the New Year, different holiday and school schedules, etc. For our neurodiverse family, change in our routine, schedule, especially a change of a WHOLE year can be difficult in our household so we require a significant recovery time.
In January we celebrated Grandma's birthday and some of our favorite National Holidays with the Canyon Lake Library. February we cant wait to celebrate Valentine's Day and we will be learning about Black History with our studies.
We have a few events scheduled and Valentine-themed Take and Make Crafts and sensory items available to order and our annual Valentine Exchange. Details will be posted in our Facebook VIP group.
Our Book of the Month is "Shark in Love", by Alma Hammond, and is available for reading at the Canyon Lake Library. Don't forget to enter our giveaway while there!
